This defensive course Part I is an eight-week course that concentrates on defensive bidding and play. It encompasses Leads against NT, Leads against Suit con-tracts, Second-Hand play and Third-Hand play, and Signals. There will be an additional 8 pre-dealt hands every other week to bid and play demonstrating the lessons. The course book is available online.

Part II in April/May will cover Defensive Signals, How to Develop Defensive Tricks, how to interfere with Declarer’s Plan, and Making a Defensive Plan.
